🎓️️Prof. Yusheng Xue | Academician of CAE

China Electric Power Research Institute, China

Yusheng Xue, elected to the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 1995, is Honorary President of the State Grid Electric Power Research Institute and Editor-in-Chief of Automation of Electric Power Systems and MPCE. He is also adjunct doctoral supervisor at several universities. He invented the EEAC theory and algorithm, solving the global challenge of quantitative transient stability analysis—the only such method applied in engineering. He developed a globally leading blackout defense system for large power grids, used in 4/5 of China's provincial and above grids. He proposed the CPSSE framework and integrated solutions for energy transition, and now leads carbon-neutral pathway optimization. He has published 5 monographs, 656 papers, and holds 60 patents. His awards include 1 National Science Conference Award, 1 First and 3 Second Prizes of National Science and Technology Progress, 2 Second Prizes of National Technological Invention, 1 China Patent Gold Award, and 1 Ho Leung Ho Lee Award. He has received honors such as National Young and Middle-aged Expert with Outstanding Contributions and National Advanced Worker.
